James DeBetta is a Law Clerk in our health law firm, providing support for our legal team. Now a second-year law student at Emory University’s law school, in addition to being very busy with the law school grind, James has served as an Extern at the Georgia Tax Clinic and was a Janet D. Steiger Fellow during the summer. He is also a staff editor on the Emory Corporate Governance and Accountability Review and serves as a Research Assistant to Professor Martin Sybblis. James graduated Magna cum Laude from the University of Georgia, where he majored in English and philosophy and wrote for the Red & Black student newspaper. He enjoys reading and playing guitar in his free time, as well as spending time with his fiancée.
